Craigievar is described as a fairytale castle and you will understand why when you see it as it is essentially the same as it was when built in 1626 with its picture book turrets.
After being collected from your accommodation, you will travel to Craigievar Castle for a guided tour after which you will journey onwards to Alford for a refreshment/lunch stop either in the town or within Grampian Transport Museum (price of admission included), which is one of the finest in the country and uniquely for Scotland , owns examples of an Argyll, an Arrol- Johnston and an Albion all of which were Scottish built.
A drive through the picturesque Howe of Alford to your accommodation completes your tour.
